Ramzan Relief Package 2024

The Federal Government is starting the implementation of the 7.492 billion Ramzan relief Package from March 4, 2024. This subsidy will be provided to the people through Utility Store Corporation. Targeted beneficiaries will be given subsidies on 19 essential items. Approval was given in the ECC(Economic Coordination Committee) meeting after the summary was sent by the Ministry of Industries and Production. 

The ECC was asked that the Finance Division may be directed to release the full amount of the projected subsidy for Rs7.492 billion for timely purchases and necessary arrangements to ensure availability of these items at USC outlets. 

19 Essential items on which subsidy will be given  

Utility Store Corporation has said that 19 essential items will be subsidized in the Ramzan relief package. The items on which subsidy will be given are stated below 

• Floor 
• Sugar 
• Ghee
• Cooking oil 
• Rice
• Pulses 
• Dates
• Milk 
• Gram flour
• drink 
• And Other Items Will Be Included 

The financial burden can be eased from poor and needy individuals with these discounted prices. 

Eligibility for Ramadan Relief Package 2024 

As you all know, a lot of Restrictions have been imposed on Pakistan by the International Monitoring Fund. Due to Restriction of International Monetary Fund on Unwanted Subsidies Ramzan Relief Package has been limited to only those under Benazir Income Support Programme. If you also belong to a family that is eligible for the Benazir Income Support Program, then you are eligible for the Ramzan Relief Package. It has been noticed that a lot of wrong news is being spread on social media. Because of which poor women are going to utility stores. After going there they come to know that they are not eligible for the Ramzan Relief Package. Therefore, do not go by any kind of rumor and only the people with Benazir Income Support Program should go to the utility store and avail the subsidy. 

According to the list given to Utility Store Corporation for subsidy, there are 26.92 million families which are registered under Benazir Income Support Program.

Ramzan Ata Relief Package 2024 

This question is usually asked by the people whether this Ramzan also a Ata relief package will be given like last year. So my answer to those people is that this time you will get a subsidy from the Utility Store Corporation only through the Ramadan Relief Package. Therefore, the news spreading on social media is false, do not pay attention to it.
