About SUPARCO
The Space and Upper Atmosphere Search Commission is the international space agency of Pakistan. This department was established in Karachi in 1961. This agency works to develop the capacity of the National Satellite System. This agency launched its first satellite from China in 1990. The agency was an early competitor and participant in a rocket development program sponsored by the ministry of defense.
SUPARCO Apprenticeship Scheme 2024
SUPARCO Institute of Technical Training has announced an apprenticeship program for the year 2024. Candidates selected under this scheme will be given a technical diploma for three years. During this period you will also be given accommodation and financial support. After completion of Diploma, you can also be offered job opportunities by SUPARCO. A diploma done under the command of a national institute holds great importance even in the private sector. This apprenticeship scheme is very helpful for students whose parents cannot afford higher education. Therefore, do not delay and apply for this apprenticeship of SUPARCO as soon as possible.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
SSC (Science group only ) passed with 70% marks minimum
Candidates waiting for results can also apply with minimum 68% marks in 9th class; However SSC marks sheet would be required on written test day.
Age
Born between 22 July 2007 and 21 July 2009 ( Both dates inclusive)
Fitness
Must be Medically fit.
Nationality
Pakistani national (Dual/Foreign nationality is not allowed)
Marital Status
Unmarried
Employment and Bond Period
After successful completion of 3 years training program a candidate may be offered a job in SUPARCO subject to requirement and performance of candidate in three years training. Candidates who are offered a job will have to accept the offer to serve for a minimum period of 5 years.
Important Note
Due to the limited number of seats only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests and interviews.
Admission tests will be conducted simultaneously at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Apprentices once selected will not be allowed to take admission elsewhere during their three years training at SITT.
Mechanical and electrical discipline will be assigned to a selected candidate on merit cum requirement basis.
Accommodation in the hostel will be offered to outstation Apprentices only subjected to availability.
Compliance to eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting.
If a large number of applications are received, only the most suitable candidates will be shortlisted on merit.
The organization reserves the right to reject any application at any stage.
